i didn't learn that humans can be transgender until after i graduated from high school...which is why i am always going to be for teaching kids that transgender people exist, and that it is okay if you are transgender. I really wish I had learned that being transgender was a thing for humans when I was a little kid.. would have helped me avoid a lot of moments in my life where i was depressed as fuck, but nope... no one even used that term or tried to teach me what that was outside of clownfish and some other aquatic lifeforms being able to change their gender on a biological level
