@loke@functional.cafe @LunaDragofelis@void.lgbt My post wasn't inspired by any one post, for what it's worth (and I think I actually didn't encounter the post you're referencing!), but rather by seeing a bunch of "why doesn't it just work" grumbling across multiple creatures' posts. And honestly it's not really about any specific posts for me anyway, big tech has (possibly intentionally) done a number on everyone's expectations for the past decades, and I think it's important that we all recalibrate that as we collectively figure out how to rid ourselves of these companies and rebuild communal infrastructure 🙂 Basically, the world has to relearn how to run things themselves, and what that looks like in practice!
