@mayintoronto@beige.party ya. The Island has been crazy this year! You should have seen Port Alberni yesterday. Good god. I’ve never seen it so busy with tourists. I think the no-go-USA is really having a massive impact on the Island!

@chris@mstdn.chrisalemany.ca @mayintoronto@beige.party I was there March 2025 and it was lovely. Only thing I missed was banana slugs and proper whale watching. Hadn’t been singe around 2001, the island is still lovely.
