Then, in 2024, a chunk of SpaceX metal was found on a Canadian farm. SpaceX, which previously disagreed with the F.A.A. report, did not respond to questions. The company now says that about 5 percent of the mass of some satellites may not disintegrate.

I think the piece they're referring to was this one, about 3 hours drive away from where I live: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatchewan/2nd-piece-of-space-junk-landed-on-saskatchewan-farmland-in-2024-1.7502192 And the only reason anybody knows about that piece was because @planet4589.bsky.social spotted that a SpaceX report mentioned a piece of a Starlink fell on Saskatchewan (different than the Crew Dragon trunk pieces closer to my house, also not my farm), and I went on farmer talk radio asking who found it.
