  @Ulrich_the_elder@thecanadian.social Unfortunately there are places like Clacton that view being in a racist party as a positive. It's the constituency that re-elected Douglas Carswell when he jumped ship to UKIP and kept him at the 2017 snap election. It's why Farage picked that seat in particular, rather than try somewhere like Thanet South or a constituency in Kent where Brexit destroyed the environment to create the 'Farage Garage' lorry park, and turned the place into a giant toilet.
