@hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange ...yeah. You aren't wrong. I have friends who have been doing security work longer than me currently looking for full time employment, some of them getting close to a year out of work. My company has taken interns and I'm telling higher to stop bringing them in because they're all under the illusion that a) they can get hired with us straight away or b) they'll have job offers thrown at them left and right. Everything is fucked in this field right now, frankly.
