@stephen@ephemera.vital.org.nz I've got (but have not yet installed) a bunch of old Sonoff devices (in-flush-box temp sensors & power switches, wifi & Zigbee), a couple unbranded 'Zigbee Smart Switch'es, and a couple Shelly 1PM Gen4s (to be used to switch on 16amp hot water cyclinder & car charging socket). With a local Zigbee hub, I don't think any 'cloud' service support is required. There're all mighty cheap on Aliexpress...

@stephen@ephemera.vital.org.nz for the record, I got a Smlight SLZB-06M Zigbee hub, which is recognised by my Home Assistant... but doesn't yet have any recognised devices registered on it... Want to get a sparkie's help to install the various devices along with one or two other jobs in the house. Need to map out where I want them all to go...
