For those not wanting to give The Mirror clicks, it is Andy Woolley, the Reform council leader of East Sussex Council that is threatening MP Helena Dollimore and cafe owner Barry Ashley with the police (and in Ms Dollimore's case the Parliamentary standards committee) for mentioning him by name, as council leader, over the council's decision not to provide meal vouchers for kids over the summer holidays. Apparently as council leader Andy Woolley doesn't like being singled out. Andy Woolley doesn't like having to answer for decisions made by the council as its leader. Maybe Andy Woolley should have considered what the role of council leader entails when accepting the position. Maybe Andy Woolley shouldn't use the recent murder of a former MP when trying to suppress free speech and intimidate elected politicians and his own constituents into not criticising the actions of the council he leads.
