@charlotte@akko.chir.rs it turns out that when you listen to politicians, 'capable' is a very flexible concept that is mostly defined by willingness you know which country is being *vastly* more difficult about "ability to house migrants" than spain? the netherlands. which on every economic metric would be *more* capable than spain but no, we "just don't have the housing capacity", please don't look too closely at the 20 years of bad housing policy and refusal of the government to take its responsibility as a housing provider seriously because 'teh free market'
