@felipe@social.treehouse.systems ok .. mine was a bit biased ...just curious ...what non Linux OS exploration due you suggest ?
for refernce i have one desktop using as a sortof file server (back up main computers to it) and dns server ..3 devices use MX Linux ( 1 w/ kde .. 2 with xfce ) and one with Q4OS ...3 have 8 gig RAM ...all are > 10 years old .. i like the flexibility and the ability to use older hardware with less resources with snappy response

@stevejohnson42@nerdculture.de I don't necessarily known too much about practicality, hence me asking what people are playing with. But I hear a lot or people daily drive BSDs, I have had a good experience with Haiku, I have heard of people using plan9, and there's GNU/Hurd.
