@jerry@infosec.exchange Is this the same level of "hacking" as the open AI one? Maybe they found a company that exposed a csv of their user's data on an open web site? Discovered that a bank's admin password was 'mydogsname123'?

@tito_swineflu@sfba.social in some ways, Anthropic's was worse than OpenAI's. Both were the result of careless incompetence and demonstrated an utter lack of security maturity. But, I am not convinced either was completely accidental. They could never pay for the sort of PR they are getting as a result.
