@acsawdey@fosstodon.org @icing@chaos.social The problem with DNS is that UNIX has no standard way of doing arbitrary asynchronous tasks, so it's not surprising it would hit problems with the UNIX APIs that are the building blocks for doing asynchronous tasks.
