@LALegault@newsie.social My wife was tapped to run in 2023 by the NDP for our riding. We went to an extremely rural area by Saskachewan, and the people there were so brain-rotted that it was impossible to have a conversation. "I saved up to get an MRI. Why can't everyone just do that?" was something one woman said. This was after they tried to pull a "gotcha" about assault weapons bans. Our campaign was considered a massive success because we got like 13% of the vote and the previous time they got like 4%.
