It's a tough call, sometimes a struggle is good for us. We'll just play it for the time being as if she will be starting school next year, but if it seems apparent she's just not ready we'll hold her back. We have until September to make our minds up. How's the new couch? We actually have an IKEA couch, but it's a premium leather one. It replaced an IKEA shitter. Maybe one day when the kids are older we'll get something really nice

@Billy_Hughes@nicecrew.digital True enough, see how you feel on the matter when it comes closer to the the next school year start, mate. I know you'll make the best decision for the lass. I haven't got them yet, waiting on a call. I am cracking on with work in the meanwhile so it's not like the time is lost. Luckily it's a cool dry day. This current Ikea couch is also second hand. Upholstered in denim, with jeans pockets all over. I actually like that aspect of it but it's not a great design. There's a metal bar that runs front to back right on the middle, if you flomp down on it you'd break your tail bone. Definitely wait until the littles are older before getting fancy furniture, even the most hard wearing couch can only take so much.
