NHS Data Privacy: Opt outs
I find it fascinating that while the NHS Digital has automatically opted us IN to share all our medical data with the likes of Palantir, to opt OUT requires manual paper forms, signed, to your GP clinic.
These:
1 - To prevent data consolidation with NHS Digital from all sources
You can opt out of either:
a) sharing Summary Care Record additional information (SCRai)
b) even having an SCR
https://digital.nhs.uk/services/summary-care-records-scr/scr-patient-preference-form
2 - To prevent data sharing by the primary source, your GP clinic, register a "Type 1 Opt Out" with them
(This should be done in ADDITION to the current "National Data Opt Out" available online)

🚫 I am about to enact both 1 & 2 with my GP.
3 - THEN there is also something called a "GP Connect Opt-out" which I'm not sure how that interacts with our data yet (?)

⚠️ So I plan to discuss what a GP Connect Opt out does with my UK GP clinic.
Updates as and when I find more.
