How can a desktop environment like GNOME be so popular when, honestly, nobody would use it without extensions? Every day there are new extensions for window management, making the desktop look nicer... The problem is that extensions sometimes mess with each other (for keyboard shortcuts for example) and break after every GNOME update. Thank goodness Niri and DMS exist if you want a lightweight and actually functional desktop. Really hope that Fedora 45 will come with an official Niri and DMS spin. #linux #gnome #niri #danklinux #dms #fedora
