@dtl@8bitorbust.info I just avoid them entirely on principle. Not interested in doing free work for the store, and they're usually slower anyway.

@dtl@8bitorbust.info but one of my local supermarkets doesn't have *any* staffed checkout lanes after a certain hour so if I need something late I'm forced to deal with the robot
