I find it funny how #ruby and #swiftlang are the two #programming languages I do not understand why people do not use more. I know Swift is dominant for Apple products. But the language is so much more and works great on #linux (at least in my experience).

@looopTools@mastodon.social And it really is a delightful language to work with. Even if I’m deeply rooted in Apple platforms myself. But it’s a real pity to see the community issues happening in Ruby. Central figure (DHH) using his platform to go full-on genocidal… yeesh.
