Argh, what was that show? Last night I half-remembered a show or movie (show, I think) -- action, sci fi, had AI characters as fully fleshed characters. The main character was a human, who found this deserted hotel in the middle of a city, deserted because the AI running it was said to have gone nuts, I think. But the two of them got on well, and the AI (a middle aged white guy, maybe with a moustache) assisted the main character in his quest. I can't remember the quest, but he was looking for ... people? things ... and evading people, too. It was kind of dystopian.
