There’s an uncomfortable tension between my employer supporting human rights through the Pride parade, to the point of being the top sponsor of it, while staunchly refusing to stop doing business with the illegal genocidal settlers in the West Bank. Perhaps doing the right thing in the West Bank doesn’t come with the same branding visibility as putting your logo everywhere on the Pride parade. Perhaps supporting LGBTQIA+ minorities in a liberal place like Amsterdam isn’t as controversial as rejecting doing business with the Zionazi settlers, thus enraging Israeli investors. This must stop now. Each single say that West Bank properties on stolen land are available on our website is another day of shame that we won’t recover from. Pressure on my employer must increase, and I will also support boycott acts.
