@sophieschmieg@infosec.exchange There is no such thing as a Nobel Prize for Economics, because Nobel didn’t regard it as a real subject. There is a fan prize (The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel) that was funded by a bank because economists felt bad and felt the need to tie their prize to something well known rather than establishing something independent to signify being the top of their field.
