Hunter Schafer and Michelle Yeoh in a new Blade Runner series?
Just please stop.
Make up new IP instead of repeatedly pulling a Highlander 2 on beloved IP.

@alexr@mastodon.online I know nothing about this series, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the Blade Runner film because the running time of a movie meant that they had to skip over and cut a lot of the interesting plot lines. A book about how empathy is both a core aspect of humanity and an essential quality for avoiding global disaster (with a major plot theme that empathy only towards an in group is insufficient) seems incredibly topical today.
