@bike4climate@mastodon.nu It really should be a custom to bring TDs, MPs, MEPs, Congress members, etc out for a bike ride around their city followed by a cup of coffee, to open their eyes wide so they say "Ah, now I see!" and change their approach to legislation

@sinabhfuil@mastodon.ie Like that idea. In our local cycling advocacy organization we've taken local politicians for bike rides several times. The rides have been social and with good conversations. They've always agreed the infrastructure they see is shit but unfortunately it leads to no action. So I'm kind of disillusioned by this. Hope politicians are better where you live. Are you engaged in trying to change the community for a better biking experience?
