@thatgalsilver@zoner.work this is what i believe with my reasonable, rational mind. my favourite projects have no economic value in 2026, but they also would have had none in 2016 or 1996 and that was never the point.
but my more emotional mind doesn't buy it. i strongly feel that everything i can do is now pointless - and i've been absolutely paralyzed by depression for distressingly close to four years by now.
(yes, i am in therapy.)

@thatgalsilver@zoner.work that is to say: on the one hand, i enjoy making things, i enjoy learning and i even enjoy the struggle involved in creativity. as a wise dead French guy put it: we must imagine Sisyphus happy. but, well, Sisyphus wasn't doing his thing right next to some guy teleoperating a crane from a ski lift.
