1/2 I've seen quite a number of accounts that are supposedly super hip and anarchist that unapologetically list "butlerian jihad" and "Luddite" as do not interact while framing the entire process of liberation as a linear progression from less to more tech using the strawman that resistance to more control is reactionary by conflating it with "more technology". It comes from a fantasy that somehow it would be possible to create a high tech utopia without highly centralized high efficiency supply lines, while at the same time claiming that to consider alternatives is a reaction. What's especially bothersome about these positions is that they're so incoherent and ahistorical it's hard to even know where to start.
