I am not saying everyone that works for him is directly complicit but it's in no small part how he treats his employees on top of the allegations he's accumulated that makes the mainstream of free software so incredibly toxic. I just cannot stand that guys like this walk around with impunity in the industry I used to work for, but it really pours salt in the wound when you learn that the supposedly principled and freedom-loving alternative harbors just as many power tripping pigs. like honestly just let it burn
