You could try calling CQ. (seek you) instead of CW, I bet you'd get more replies. 😉
Also I'll tell you something most gate keeping motherfuckers wont: don't sweat the theoretical losses through ATUs. Unless you're running hard core QRP, it's not enough to worry about.
You're can lose a whole lot more of your radiated power via 50 feet of shit coax than you will through an atu no matter what's at the other end of it.

The ATU was working overtime and three Elmers at his local club concluded told him something that he interpreted as his 7300 was defective One hunk of wire much much later…
