@beeps@social.beeps.gay For some better news, Boltz-2 (an MIT licensed project) matches AlphaFold 3 in performance already. AlphaFold 4 will apparently continue to be maintained by Isomorphic Labs, essentially a DeepMind spinoff company, which will keep it closed source. :(
