Yes it’s damn hot out, but this article is misleading. This is about radiant heat, not actual air temperature.

I can’t wait for the days where passive cooling (highly emissive IR panels that require little to no electricity to cool buildings) create new errors in the sat data that scientists have to deal with instead of “Oh yeah we’re fucking RUINING the place in specific regions and creating heat islands around all these carbon fuel powerplants and datacenters”
