Sam, @soberaim@todon.nl @Miro_Collas@masto.ai What other government would still stand after 60-plus years of constant attacks and economic strangulation by the most powerful nation in history? I'm glad that you don't support the blockade, but sad that you can't see that it is by far the most significant cause of Cuba's suffering.

Or if they were transparent on how the Party replaces people and erases them from history. Or if people in Cuba could express themselves about what worries them, what they don't like, etcetera... freely. Or if the people could have open access to the Internet, with at least 10 mbps of bandwidth. And the list goes on. Cuba, Venezuela, Iran and Nicaragua... have been way too violent, way too authoritarian, way too negligent. If we're gonna criticize something, let's be honest about the lights and the shadows in the whole picture. I'm in Venezuela and what I've seen first band is surely not propaganda.
