Y’all remember the PSX emu Bleem! ? You could buy it commercially as a physical disk from the shelves of a store? I have no idea how they got away with it but that seems unthinkable these days.

Personally, I wasn’t allowed to own a computer until well after Bleem! went out of business (from running out of money for legal defence against sony). That being said, looking at wikipedia, Bleem! started first, so PCSX was the one that stole the look and feel of Bleem!
