@slevelt@aus.social (Your Buena Vista social club toot reminded me of this - in the late 90s, I saw Paul Williamson's Hammond combo, and they back announce the last song as coming from the BVSC, and highlight that they'd played it and butchered it the previous week, without knowing that 3 members of the BVSC were in the audience, winding down after a show at the arts centre. It's that kind of night - you get contributions from any and everyone in the second half of the show.
