@adredish@neuromatch.social @afewbugs@social.coop I can only talk about my experience in biomedical research, and how a lot of science is hoarded till a patent if filed, and of course a patent is in and of itself a hoarding technique I don't know how, across all of "science" common hoarding is If you want to say it is 10 - 20%, I'm fine with that
