I think I figured out the general reason why I dislike Rotten Tomatoes, which is that all the dumb, boring, overly safe movieslop gets certified fresh, while risky, interesting, artistically worthwhile movies that fail in some regards but succeed in others often get brushed aside as "rotten". Literally the opposite of what I would want to spend my time on #movies
