@earth_walker@mindly.social Ugh. This is such repulsive news, and so unsurprising as end-stage capitalism continues to reveal its true fascist shape. My big question is, did this purchase happen because Suno is so much more lucrative than Bandcamp or whatever else songkick does? Or is Suno's wealth just an illusion of profitability, that really consists of unsustainable loss-leader compute pricing plus piles of venture capital scammed from tech investors? It all smells like a shell game to me.
