You are a pilot, trapped in a thunderstorm, trying to land your plane.
You have just aborted your third approach. Between the roars of thunder you can hear children crying in the cabin, possibly adults too.
As you desperately try not to reach the inevitable conclusion, there are many questions you could ask: "Why haven't we been diverted?", "Would a better pilot than me have managed this?". But none of that matters any more, there is just one thing you must know before you go:
