@ppxl@social.tchncs.de hosting, I believe will be at the local level, eg a library, club, ISP &c until all the issues you mention are an appliance. That said, my house has me, and the complexity of the issues for just a handful of users is, so far, knock on wood, not much bother. So I hope for the appliance, but pragmatically encourage small scale adventures 😊 perhaps someday Facebook neighbourhoods could actually be so!
