Why is it that every time I call Police Assistance they transfer me to 000, but every time I cal 000 Police they transfer me to Police Assistance?

I’m sure I used to get this right when I lived in NSW, but VicPol are weird.

@yaakov@cloudisland.nz Why are they things you can be transferred between and not just the same call centre with priority vs not lines
