This doesn't sit well with me and as someone who is mostly afraid to ask questions for clarity because of this very sort of unnecessary and icky feeling backlash, I feel anxious, nauseous and terrible and don't want mote enemies just because I wanted yo UNDERSTAND something and asked about it.
