And well, call me idealistic, but I think that when you see an atrocity, the first thought should be to *make sure that you aren't about to do the same fucking thing to someone else*

@iris_meredith@mastodon.social hm, I don't agree that it is. there is nothing about the rejection of humanity that makes you more likely to cause an atrocity. indeed there's infinitely more ways to not be human than to be human, and most of them are benign
