Maybe because those countries you mentioned spend money on, I don’t know, social security, infrastructure, healthcare, green energy. Unlike the US who is pretending to be the world police - miserable failing at that - and just being an agent of chaos. All basic services in the US are being stripped, whereas other countries are trying to have policies to benefit their citizens.
