@gimulnautti@mastodon.green @tante@tldr.nettime.org I don't think we have to worry about them becoming anything, since they are already what we fear, at least here in the States. Our federal government, along with state and local are all on board, and I've read many statements that suggest that We the People have no say in the construction of these things, and merely being against them is terrorism. I think that makes it obvious what they already are.

But, that will take some time, so they’re speedrunning the creation of robot armies to protect themselves. They think they can make it, in the coming decades when the shit finally hits the fan, but they’ll have to burn the planet to protect their assets.
