I have long enjoyed Digging the Greats on Youtube, but his 'DTG Deluxe' format videos on youtube are genuinely astonishing magic.
A complete, interactive second screen experience synchronised with the video. It adds background music, graphics, additional details and interactive gadgets to chop and play with beats in the songs he's discussing.
A fantastic way to step around contemporary youtube content issues too!
It has a mechanism to stop for ads and get back in sync based on audio from the screen.
Properly clever stuff.
Yes - he's reviewing Kanye West's Graduation, and up front acknowledges the problem that Kanye has become, but still looks at the art piece of its own right in its own time.
