Speaking of drive sounds, my full-height Tandon drive arrived today, so I can go about trying to record a new sound-effects set from the OG IBM 5.25" diskette drive.
Maybe then everyone can stop telling me it sounds like a 3.5" drive

this commit is going to be disgusting, i went off and wrote a whole new sound system, asset library manager, sound effects manager and event resolver, and refactored the entire floppy drive controller, without ever committing anything. i'm really bad about that. the commit message will probably be something like "stuff"
