@whbboyd@infosec.exchange @mborges@mastodon.social for the tektronix mso5 (a device series about 5y old and a price tag of a decent middle/upper class car) you have a choice of windows or Linux, Ubuntu iirc. And for firmware updates, it will run a plain bash script on an attached USB stick with root rights... :neocat_facepalm:
