Dublin has a supermarket built inside a medieval townhouse; you can see the ruins through Plexiglas panels in the floor while you shop for groceries. There's also a giant orange diving bell from the docks you can climb inside for free. My favorite free activity, though, is a self-guided scavenger hunt for Dublin's colorful Georgian doors.
