Thinking about my principles and the compromises I am willing to or currently make, #NoAI is one of the most important to me, especially in my operating system. I also consider privacy, digital sovereignty, right to repair, and social justice. But the use of LLMs is non-negotiable for me.
Debian is currently considering its stance on LLMs going forward. This is one thing that would affect my decision to use Debian going forward.
I love Debian. I love the Debian Social Contract. Debian is truly a good project. But passing Proposal B or D in the current vote would be going too far. Proposal A (complete ban) would be ideal. Proposal C (pragmatic with enforcement) would be acceptable.

@TerminalTilt@social.terminaltilt.com I agree about A or C. There was also E which seems to be the loosest which is of course not good. Do you know when they plan to make a decision?
