You don’t get hindsight with the next crisis, when the response will also be imperfect. But in what direction? Do you go along with the instincts of Rand Paul, Tommy Tuberville or RFK Jr? Or nonpartisan health officials?

We live in a world where people have been repeatedly told not to trust public health advice, even when it is absolutely sound. This is primarily a political problem, and not one of Fauci’s making. Republicans are now dying because of that distrust. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/watching-t...
