@parismarx@mastodon.online to me, this is not a trivial trouble to choose. Losing out on AI race, and I mean it also mostly on European terms with companies under EU democratic decision making, most likely means EU becoming relatively poor compared to AI winners. This in turn will mean the further rise of populism, no matter if it was from the right or left and that could be even worse for the sustainability than the gas plants running for 10 years.
