@Starcross@mk.absturztau.be You're absolutely doing the right thing. If you get the better job, just be polite but honest with the worse one about why you want to back out - cite the higher pay and longer contract. The best that happens is the worse job improves their offer in a bid to match the better one. The worst that happens is they try to sound authoritarian and say you HAVE to take the job, in which case you just ignore them and dip for the better one. Win/win.
